Cloud Play is now available in India following a partnership between Vi and cloud gaming firm CareGame. With the Vi Games app, which is accessible on the web, Android and iOS players can now enjoy current AAA-listed games on their mobile devices. 

The idea of Cloud Play came from the cloud gaming concept wherein the processing power and hardware requirements for running games are shifted to high-performance servers in data centres. The servers handle all the game processing, from rendering graphics to handling game logic.

Every player’s device simply serves as a display and input interface when they play games like crypto craps. The game is streamed live on the device and the player’s input commands are sent back to the server for processing.

Aside from Cloud Play, Vi also added a try-and-buy mode, allowing users to enjoy cloud gaming through Cloud Play for free for the first 15 days as a special offer. The service will be sold at Rs 100 per month after the offer period. 

Prepaid users can recharge with the Rs 104 plan to keep enjoying games on Cloud Play. Cloud Play offers a range of popular games such as Shadow Fight, Modern Combat 5, StormBlades, Riptide, and Beach Buggy Racing. Users can enjoy playing these games without downloading them. 

The company has also mentioned that it plans to add more products to its lineup soon. Vi reminded players to maintain a connection with higher bandwidth and lower latency since cloud gaming relies heavily on the internet.

Players can enjoy these games on their mobile devices connected to strong WiFi networks. However, the service is currently only available for Vi subscribers. It’s a great option for players who want to enjoy the latest mobile games, even with an older model or limited storage space.
